In the mid-nineteenth century, the Wells handmade watch workshop — predecessor of BONEST GATTI — began its watchmaking legacy in Pforzheim, Germany's 'Little Geneva', in 1845. When World War II devastated the city's watch industry in 1939, the Wells family persevered. After the war, fifth-generation Richard Wells rebuilt the family craft, carrying forward centuries of precision watchmaking tradition. In 1999, he founded the independent brand BONEST GATTI, whose avant-garde design and exquisite craftsmanship captivated luxury circles across China and Europe.
BRAND HISTORY
2005
BONEST GATTI's customized mechanical watches were popular among the upstarts with their trendy appearance design and century-old quality. In order to expand overseas markets, the BONEST GATTI Holding Group Co., Ltd. was launched in Germany.
2008
BONEST GATTI, which inherited the century-old German watchmaking craftsmanship, emerged in many light luxury mechanical watch brands and attracted the attention of business elites.
2015
BONEST GATTI teamed up with the Supercar Club to break through the limitations of traditional watchmaking and integrate supercar elements. It launched the 'King Speed Series' and 6 new collections of limited edition products in Taipei, China, shocking the Asian market.
2017
